One of the authors of Zephyr here -- love to see my research and writing communities collide, excited to try it out!

Whoa so kind of you to hop in and comment! I really enjoyed Zephyr's paper but more than anything I'm really enjoying using the model, is so much more robust than all other Open Source models I've tried.

When you can scale to bigger models, as infra gets better, they're much better at handling nuance than these small and powerful ones.

Clock is ticking, better gpus are coming...

I've been trying every single model available on monsterapi.ai and Zephyr by far is the best, in terms of robustness at least --it almost always does what I ask for, contrary to, say, llama2, which tends a lot to go on tangents and explain how it would do something rather than doing it.

Yep even compared to the bigger models they host. In any case, huge thanks to you and your team for an amazing work and for putting it all at the service of the community.

Great! I love how you are creating things that can return a profit while maintaining the principles of open source and open knowledge. Keep it up and good luck!

This is really cool! I’ve also been working on something similar where I come up with ideas and connect then let AI weave them into an outline/starting draft. I’ve been able to get the AI to do this by using my own writing within each idea as long as I polish the idea enough. I’ll have to give this a try!

Yeah, gen AI well used can be truly powerful. Would love to learn more about your process.

It’s using Obsidian + Smart Connections + Text Generator. The latter two are plugins for Obsidian. I’ll probably write more about it once I feel like I’ve really got it going.

Oh I've been into Obsidian for a couple months now and still haven't found about all the plugins I could want so I'll definitely check this two, plus I'll wait eagerly for that article.

Woah. Not even sure how I feel about this. Just mind blown. I wasn’t to try it just for kicks.
