Hi!
This is a short update about a new short book I’ve been working on for the last couple of months.
Mostly Harmless AI is a collection of 10 essays I wrote during 2023 and 2024, edited and updated for 2025, about Artificial Intelligence and its impact on society. It summarizes my views regarding AI, what it means, and what we should do about it.
The foreword is written by the one and only
, long-time collaborator on AI-related topics and author of the substack.Today, I’m thrilled to announce the first complete draft of Mostly Harmless AI, meaning all of the structure and content are in place. I’m running a full editing pass aided by a good friend, linguist, and expert critic of all things AI
.You can read the full draft online and get the PDF version at a reduced price. As usual, this is the best way to support Mostly Harmless Ideas.
NOTE: Premium subscribers of MHI can get all my books for free, just use the promo code in the email header.
That’s all for today,
Best,
Alex.
